With 12 caskets in our display area we make sure that we always have something within the budget of all the families we serve.

We offer Triguard Burial Vaults for those families choosing earth burial. This line of vaults offers quality construction and durability.Theline offers value at several different price points. For those choosing cremation, we offer a wide variety of cremation merchandise. For families wanting a service or viewing prior to cremation we offer several affordable cremation containers and caskets. Our urn selection is large and affordable. We also offer  keepsake urns and jewelry.

With each service families are given several choices for memorial cards, programs, and guest books. We also offer customization for those families who want memorial products that are truly unique.

Casket Selection

Whether you are preplanning for yourself or choosing for a loved one, a casket selection is a very personal decision and an expression of your feelings. A casket that reflects the personality and taste of your loved one can be your final tribute to their life. We understand these needs and offer a wide variety of caskets that can help you make your decision. Our caskets start at $495.

Many families choose bronze or copper because they are superior to all other casket materials in strength, durability and naturally non-rusting qualities. They are lined with the finest materials and come in a variety of finishes. One only has to look at the Statue of Liberty to realize the durability offered by these metals. They are for the family who wants "the very best" the metal casket industry has to offer

From industrial settings to our homes, stainless steel is widely used. The durability of stainless steel is well known. Caskets made of Stainless Steel are available in a variety of exterior and interior colors and finishes. Stainless is often an excellent choice for the value conscious consumer. These caskets offer some of the qualities of bronze and copper at a more modest cost.

Standard steel caskets are manufactured from quality 16 and 18 gauge steel. They are available in a variety of finishes, colors, and interiors. Many come with personalization options.

Minimum steel caskets are manufactured from 19 and 20 gauge steel. These lighter weight steel caskets come in painted finishes with basic interiors.

Using the same craftsmanship as skilled cabinetmakers, our solid wood caskets are manufactured using the highest quality species of mahogany, walnut, cherry, maple, oak, poplar and pine. The warmth and beauty of solid wood caskets are unsurpassed.

For those families who desire the look of solid wood but need to be more economical, we offer a variety of select hardwood veneer or fiberboard caskets. These caskets are suitable for burial or maybe used for those families incorporating a traditional service with a cremation

 Cremation Merchandise

At Lacy Funeral Home we believe that the family choosing cremation should have as many merchandise choices as the family choosing traditional burial. We have one of the area's largest selections of cremation urns, containers and caskets, and keepsake items.

Our cremation urns are made from a variety of materials, many of which can be personalized. Unlike selections often found elsewhere, we constantly make sure that we have a large selection of modestly priced quality urns.

No two families are alike. While some families want the minimum allowed container for the body to be cremated in, others prefer something more substantial. Recognizing this difference, we offer your family several choices at several different price points.

Keepsake items are becoming more and more popular. They allow the family to keep some of the cremains separate from the final place of disposition. They also allow several family members to have a keepsake memorial. We have a wide variety of these items available to the families who call us.

BURIAL VAULTS

We offer Vaults

The unique design of the Trigard vault features the permanence and strength of the structured arch. Trigard’s design imparts an outward and downward thrust to the lid which secures a better seal. This strength, combined with Trigard’s vacuum formed liner securely bonded to high strength reinforced concrete, gives an added feeling of security for your loved ones. The tightly joined grooved lid and tongue of the vault wall, in conjunction with the butyl tape seal, provides an immediate and permanent seal for the most secure vault that is second to none.

All of the Trigard vaults feature hand finished exteriors. Engraved name plaques are provided on all vaults as are decorative wreaths on all but the Tremont styles, which features a raised lid design.

 Flowers

Our staff can assist with floral tributes from family and friends. A wide variety of selections are available that can be displayed at the service, ceremony or visitation. A list of local florist's are provided on the welcome page of our website.

Symbolic Meanings of Flowers

Flowers communicate without words. Because each flower has a different meaning, sending a bouquet with specially chosen blossoms is a special way to communicate.

  • Daffodils — “You are the only one”
  • Daisy — “Innocence”
  • Dogwood — “Love undiminished by adversity”
  • Forget-me-not — “True love”
  • Gladiolus — “Strength of character”
  • Hydrangeas — “Thank you for understanding me”
  • Ivy — “Wedded love, fidelity”
  • Marigold — “Grief”
  • Pink carnations — “I’ll never forget you”
  • Red and white roses together — “Unity”
  • Red chrysanthemums — “Love”
  • Rose — “Love”
  • Tulip — “Declaration of love”
  • White lily — “Sweetness”
  • Zinnias — “Thoughts of absent friends”

When ordering your floral tribute, tell the florist about the person you are honoring and he or she will help you create a meaningful and memorable arrangement.

Types of Sympathy Floral Arrangements

While anything is possible when it comes to floral arrangements, florists commonly use the following designs for sympathy arrangements.

  • A casket spray (sometimes known as a casket blanket or cover) is the arrangement placed on the top of the casket. The family closest to the deceased usually purchases it.
  • A spray is the most common arrangement ordered. The flowers are designed for viewing from one side only. Sprays can vary in shape and size and are usually displayed on an easel.
  • An inside piece (sometimes known as an insert piece) is the term used to describe the small floral designs placed inside the casket (for example, pillows, hearts or small bouquets). Close family members or special loved ones usually order this type of arrangement. Ask the family before ordering anything for the caskets
  • A wreath is circular in design and considered by many to symbolize eternal life.
  • A floral arrangement is a mix of fresh flowers in a vase, basket or other container.
  • Other floral designs can represent an organizational tribute (for example, a Masonic lodge) or a religious tribute (for example, a cross). Heart-shaped designs are also quite popular.
  • Plants are longer lasting tributes that the family will keep after the service.
