 Lacy Funeral Home was established in 1872, by John Abner Lacy, Lacy Funeral Home along with Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa are proud members of the Covenant Funeral Service Family of Fredericksburg, Virginia. We are proud to be a family owned and operated firm. The staff at Lacy Funeral Home is committed to comforting families at their time of loss and meeting their needs in the most professional and compassionate manner. Lacy Funeral Home is here to help at your time of need. A member of the Lacy staff is available to assist you 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Whether we are needed at three in the morning or three in the afternoon, weekdays, holidays, weekends, year round, your call for assistance will always be answered. From the simplest burial and cremation services to complete traditional and non-traditional funerals; from memorial services, graveside services, scattering of ashes to  remembrance services, Lacy Funeral Home can assist families with any and all of their  decisions.

Likewise, from pre-planning, pre-funding to at-need services and aftercare resources, Lacy provides information, education, good-counsel and professional services to families before a death occurs, when a death occurs, and after a death has taken place. We feel that the best decisions are the most informed decisions, so all funeral arrangements are made by open, honest discussion with families about costs, fees and finances, as well as their concerns about the meaning and value of the funeral.

Facilities

Lacy funeral home has a chapel with seating of 120, with additional seating of 20 in the overflow area. The funeral home is all on one level, step free, making us handicap friendly. The parking lot holds approximately 80 cars, with additional parking of 25. Lacy funeral home is a full service funeral home, with services within the means of all.
