Florence Virginia Tate, 83 of Mineral, Virginia passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her residence surrounded by family.She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Tate; her children, Beverly Carter and Larry Thacker; her step-children, Thomas J. Tate, Jr., Sean Tate, and Brenda Douglas; two special grandchildren, Nicole Carter and Donnie Thacker; three special great-grandchildren, Asheton Carter, Donnie Thacker, Jr. and Emma Thacker; a sister, Martha Greene, and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Woodward Funeral Home Chapel, Louisa, VA; with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150
